Everyone can be part of the LINk
If you receive, have had contact with or have used Health and Adult Social Care Services in South Gloucestershire you can participate in the LINk, attend meetings and events, or just receive information from us.
Or you can simply contact us to let us know what you think about Health and Adult Social Care Services.
The South Gloucestershire LINk is made up of :
Members of the public, carers, health and social care service users, community leaders, patient representatives, charities, faith groups, tenant organisations, youth councils and BME (Black and Minority Ethnic) organisations, representatives of community and voluntary groups….
LINk participants are included in our confidential database and are sent regular LINk E Bulletins, information about events and Health and Social Care consultations, what the South Gloucestershire LINk is doing and ways to get involved.
You don’t have to register on the confidential database to get your views heard in the LINk – tell us what you think on our discussion page, call us, write to us or send an email.
Everyone can give their views, even if you don’t want to be part of the LINk.
The Host Development worker also visits and runs workshops with community and voluntary groups to ensure their views are heard in the LINk. If you would like us to visit your group contact us.
It is important for people to talk to the LINk about Health and Social Care Services to:
- Help services get better
- Add your views to others, making a stronger voice
- Make everyone aware of Health and Social Care issues so that they can be improved
- The views of the LINk can be taken into account when services are planned and commissioned
